How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Edit: EXCUSE ME, DID AVATAR JUST GIVE ME A SERIES OF FICLETS TOTALLY UNRELATED TO THE LARGER PLOT, BUT SIMPLY GORGEOUS IN REGARD TO CHARACTER EXPLORATION? THAT WAS WONDERFUL! Also: Oh, Zuko. And OH, Toph.

I am sure a select few of you will be glad to hear that I finally got into Avatar.

I am in fact watching s02 e9 as I type this.

Here's my breakdown:

UNCLE IROH! PLEASE BE MY UNCLE FOREVER AND EVER. YOU ARE AMAZING!

Lol, Zuko, I love you, you repressed little punk. I am also liking what the hair coming in does to your overall appearance. Majour props to your general fighting skills. And: your mum was awesome. I adore your sense of honour, you broken little thing, you.

Azula: I think you're fourteen, and you're an idiot. You're a stupid biatch. And an utter psycho.

Oh, Sokka. Never stop being awesome. You're my favourite of the trio ( I suppose you were meant to be easily loveable, so I ran into that knife with a seeing eye).

Toph (is that how you write her name?). You hilarious, egotistical little powerhouse.

Aang and Katara? You're alright, but I just feel distinctly *meh* about you. That's not your fault. In fact, there is nothing wrong with your characters at all. I'm just not getting a spark. I usually get like that with the main characters. I'm a support cast type of gal.
Took me pretty much until "The forest again" to genuinely care about Harry. Well, managed that one just in time to cry so much I feared de-hydrating myself to the point of unconsciousness. ("There has to be another way! There has to be another way! You don't have to do this! Stay with us!" she cried, all by her lonesome in her flat in the wee hours of the morning. Like a boss.)

Also: The Animation (zomg, colourschmemes and acting OH MY), the voice Actors' timing, the humour, the themes (girls are awesome; having a "handicap" doesn't make you weak, good ol' FRIENDSHIP AND HONOUR).

All in all: Avatar is amazing. I cannot wait to watch the movie and weep over how they raped the characters. That, too, feels oddly familiar... hm.

I have just finished the series and love it so much! I was completely addicted and I am so glad I was suggested it to watch. I think Sokka is my favourite character. Scenes with him in make me laugh out loud so hard. I feel a bit slow on joining the fandom but it is so good. Better late than never!

Omg thats awesome you're loving it

I've watched it since episode one aired and stilll love it at 18 years old.
and don't worry about not feeling Aang and Katara. I never did. I love their friendship but Aang's too young and I can't imagine him romantically with anybody and I just thought their relationship was forced. I can get why Aang loved Katara, but I couldn't see why this 16-17 year older women could romantically love a 12 year old D: blah
It wasn't until the very last several episodes of the show that I realized how much I actually love the idea of Katara & Zuko together and after that thought, I couldn't get it out of my mind :]]
Now that's a couple that could of been freaking amazing if only the writers didn't change their minds for the damn younger audience :/
