*sigh*
So it's happened, as we all knew it would: WB has cracked down on HP the Musical.
What is known so far is that they'll have to change the name. Which I get, because "Harry Potter" is WB's protected brand and you wouldn't want false identification of the brand and yaddayadda boring dementor copyright talk.
However: Please be cool about the lyrics, WB. Pretty please. You've given us quite teh playground with our webpages, and wrock concerts, and PotterPuppetPals and whatnot, so please continue being that cool.
Having to change all the copyrighted HP word-creations would totally spoil the fun for all of us.
It's fan parody that does not lead to any financial gain for its originators, so: Pleeease, be cool about this.
Don't take this away from us. Don't be Dementors.
Yes, I feel THAT strongly about this, because that project was inspired, and creative and well done and, well, Totally Awesome.
And I'm a young adult of 23, and not a silly 13 year-old fangirl (not that there's anything wrong with 13 year-old fangirls
Over and out.

Better quality, new signature and title card.
Even a Behind the scene with their Hermione Granger.
now it's called "A very potter Musical".
That being said, I consulted with my law professor dad (handy to have one of those sometimes) and he says that if they change the title of the musical that they shouldn't need to interfere with the lyrics as long as the songs don't have HP copyrighted titles. So! Fingers crossed!
And young adult HP fans unite!
I'm stuck in a hotel room with no wireless net and I miss half of act one and all of act two. GOSH DARN IT!!!!
(I appoligise for my mouth)
and I'm really annoyed/depressed because I didn't get to finish it before WB made 'em take it down!
I reeeeeeeeaalllllllly really hope they let them keep it as is, minus the name change of course. but seriously, it's not hurting anyone!
aww no..
i adore that musical!
it's pure potter genius!
i hope they don't make them mess with the lyrics/script.. all the jokes would be lost. ):
but hey.. WB might pick up on it's genius and make it a real production?!
haha, i'll keep dreaming..
