How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

First off: can it be October already, please? I want McGonagall's backstory yesterday, at the latest.
Secondly, this October launch will seriously - and I mean seriousl - endanger my sucess rate at Grad School. I wish I was kidding. We all know I'm not. I'll spen my night going through Pottermore, hoovering up every last morsel of background information.
Thirdly, for better or worse, I will get myself sorted and then bear my house as JKR saw fit for me. I can only hope I'm a Ravenclaw XD

Finally:

Fic. I need some. Good one. All this Pottermore hooplah has stoked an appetite that has lain dormant for a long time.

So: please shoot me some recommendations. no AU, plz, but missing moments and 19 years or post-epilogue very welcome. No point in linking me to anything on checkmated, If it's on checkmated, I'll know it.

I know these great set of fics. Like, superbly written. They start the day after the war and there are so many it basically goes until the kids of HP are in school. I think you'd like them, but the hitch is, it is very slightly AU, because they thought up wives for George, Percy, and Charlie before the extended family was released. But other than that, it's canon. If you're interested still, I can still link you.
